The Rabbana Duas are short, beautiful supplications found in the Qur’an, starting with “Rabbana” (meaning “Our Lord”). They are often recited in prayers or for personal supplication. Below are some commonly recited Rabbana Duas:
1. Dua for Guidance and Acceptance of Deeds
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration: Rabbanā Taqabbal Minnā Innaka Anta As-Samī’ul-‘Alīm
Translation: “Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:127)

2. Dua for Forgiveness and Mercy
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
Transliteration: Rabbanā Lā Tu’ākhidhnā In-Nasīnā Aw Akhṭa’nā
Translation: “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:286)
3. Dua for Success in Both Worlds
This dua is recited in Namaz
رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الْاٰخِرَةِ حَسَـنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration: Rabbanaaa Aatinaa Fiddunyaa H’asanataw Wa Fil Aakhirati H’asanataw Wa Qinaa A’d’aaban Naar
Translation: Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!
Surah Al-Baqarah – 2:201
4. Dua for Patience and Firmness
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Transliteration: Rabbanā Afrigh ‘Alaynā Ṣabran Wa Thabbit Aqdāmanā Wa Anṣurnā ‘Alā Al-Qawmil-Kāfirīn
Translation: “Our Lord, pour upon us patience, plant firmly our feet, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:250)

5. Dua for Forgiveness of Sins
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ
Transliteration: Rabbanā Aghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Kaffir ‘Annā Sayyiātinā Wa Tawaffanā Ma’al-Abrār
Translation: “Our Lord, forgive us our sins, remove from us our misdeeds, and cause us to die with the righteous.”
(Surah Aal-E-Imran, 3:193)
6. Dua for Forgiveness and the Well-Being of Parents
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Transliteration: Rabbir-ḥamhumā Kamā Rabbayānī Ṣaghīrā
Translation: “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.”
(Surah Al-Isra, 17:24)
